Bizolutions develops an Environmental Management System (EMS) based on ISO 14001:2015 to identify and control environmental aspects, effects and risks. An EMS describes practices that the Company, management and staff should follow to achieve the aims stated in the Company’s Environment Policy and to comply with New Zealand environmental legislation, in particular the Resource Management Act.

 

The environmental management system provides a structured and systematic method to incorporate environmental care in all aspects of a company's business and is part of a company’s overall management system.

Environmental Product Declaration (EPD)

 

An EPD is a declaration based on ISO 14025 

The overall goal of an EPD is to encourage the demand for, and supply of, those products that cause less stress on the environment, through communication of verifiable and accurate information that is not misleading, thereby stimulating the potential for market-driven continuous environmental improvement.
The objectives of these EPDs are as follows:
a) to provide LCA-based (life cycle assessment) information and additional information on the environmental aspects of products;
b) to assist purchasers and users to make informed comparisons between products; these declarations are not comparative assertions;
c) to encourage improvement of environmental performance;
d) to provide information for assessing the environmental impacts of products over their life cycle.

 

Bizolutions assist companies with an independent review and evaluation of its products wrt life-cycle assessment and the setup and review of the Environmental Product Declaration.
